It is essential that a design team knows what is appropriate when communicating with others in a variety of scenarios. Whether a team is communicating to a client over different time zones, face to face or meeting someone new at a networking event, each of these scenarios changes how communication takes place. This exercise enables a team to consider how they approach communicating with others in different scenarios.
Ideally this exercise should be given to students near the start of a project, to enable them to be aware of how they can communicate with others.
